A 30-person strong financial services staffing firm with offices in New York, Austin, Chicago, and Miami sought to expand its leadership team. With a strong focus on finance, legal, and compliance, the firm needed a key senior hire to provide mentorship and structure to its growing team.
The firm engaged us to find a Director of Accounting and Finance, a full-desk, 360 role requiring both individual contribution and leadership. The ideal candidate needed to:
Have at least 5 years of experience
Possess previous management experience
Work in a hybrid capacity (2 days in-office per week)
Maintain a strong book of business and client relationships
Balance management responsibilities with independent production in a player-coach capacity
Provide mentorship to 2-3 junior staff members in a highly autonomous environment
