Research Method

We conducted our research using proprietary data to analyze the professional backgrounds of individuals in executive search. This included variables such as years of experience, educational institutions attended, highest education level achieved, industries worked in prior to transitioning into executive search, and tenure within the field. The dataset provided a comprehensive
view of career trajectories and qualifications, offering insights into common pathways and profiles within the executive search industry.

The research group studied were Partners who had graduated between 2004 and 2015 and currently work at one of the top 20 Executive Search firms in the US.
