Company Overview:

We are currently partnered with an executive search and staffing firm that is focussed on what they have termed the “Innovation” ecosystem, delivering the leading Product, Engineering and Sales talent to some of the most exciting VC firm’s and their portfolio companies - some examples of which being Grey Suite and A16z.

Having established strong bases in the UK, New York and Miami, they are now poised to expand their operations, with strategy revolving around investment into a leader for their planned San Francisco location.

Position Overview:

In this position, you would either be coming in as an experienced billing manager, or a 360 individual contributor (with a heavy focus on BD). You would lead the firm’s West Coast charge, taking responsibility over deepening the relationships that have been well established with several Tier One VC-firms in the tech space.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategic direction and growth initiatives of the firm’s US Growth plans, expanding upon their work on the East Coast and leading the charge in the West.

  • VC-backed client relationship building: Combine your exposure to the VC world with the firm’s warm relationships in this space and expanding the portfolio of clients being worked with.

  • Full-desk billing or BD-only focus: Being a rainmaker, either filling the roles that you bring in yourself, or pass them over to a highly experienced and successful team of recruiters who can focus on the delivery side while you focus on expanding the West Coast Client-base

  • Build a team: you will be responsible for driving revenue from the firm’s client-base, as well as building a team of recruiters in the way that you see fit.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in placing within the VC-backed Product, Engineering and/or Sales Exec Search professionals

  • Deep understanding of the Venture-backed tech space, holding relationships that can be leveraged.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.

  • Management experience would be a bonus, but isn’t required – The firm can provide the opportunity to manage if you are interested in doing so.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset

Benefits:

  • Hybrid Work, 3 days a week in office in San Fran – specific location TBD

  • Base salary of $150k and up, depending on experience.

  • Already deeply networked relationships in the VC space, wherefrom you can leverage coming in to hit the ground running.
