Company Overview:
We are currently partnered with a staffing firm that is focussed on financial services across both the buy and sell side. The company have verticals within, A&F, Front Office, Middle Office, IR and a Temp Team. They have excelled within these sectors and are now looking for someone to come in and expand out the A&F division further.
Position Overview:
In this position you would be leading an existing team of 10 and be growing that team to 20+ in the coming years and longer term around the 40 number. You will be managing the team whilst individually contributing. You would be placing Accounting and Finance professionals within the Hedge fund and PE space and working with premier shops. The hybrid role would be based in New York city.
Roles and responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategic direction and growth initiatives of our Accounting and Finance within Hedge funds and PE companies recruitment practice, leveraging market insights and industry trends to drive business success.
Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their talent needs and delivering customized recruitment solutions that exceed expectations.
Team Management: You will be managing an experienced existing team of 4, whilst being involved in the expansion of the team. So, you will need to build and mentor a high-performing team of Accounting and Finance full desk recruiters, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
Driving revenue; you will be responsible for driving revenue from clients and also from the team, placing accounting and finance candidates into the buy-side.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of success in placing within the Hedge fund and PE space.
Deep understanding of Accounting and Finance
roles, trends, and talent dynamics, with a robust network.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
Management experience
Entrepreneurial mindset
Be able to leverage existing client relationships
