Company Overview:
We are currently partnered with a boutique search firm that is focus on Legal and A&F operating out of New York with remote hubs in Chicago, Austin and Miami. They have excelled within this sector over the past 15 years and are looking for someone to lead the in-house legal division at the New York City office.
Position Overview:
In this position you would be a hands-on players coach, being instrumental in the direction of the business. You will be given the investment and backing to grow a team to as large as needed whilst individually contributing. You would be placing Partners and Associates at Law firms. The hybrid role is 2 days in office and would be based in Midtown New York city.
Roles and responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategic direction and growth initiatives of our in-house legal division.
Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their talent needs and delivering customized recruitment solutions that exceed expectations.
Team Management: You will have pathway for leadership and being heavily involved in the expansion of the team. So, you will need to build and mentor a high-performing team of Legal recruiters, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
Driving revenue; you will be responsible for driving revenue from clients and also from the team. P&L responsibilities if wanted.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of success of running a full desk with management qualities
Deep understanding of in-house legal roles, trends, and talent dynamics, with a robust network.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.

Benefits:
Hybrid Work, 2 days a week in office in New York
Bespoke Salary package well north of 6 figures
Commission starting at 45% going to 60%
