Overview:
We are currently retained by a fast-growing, venture capital backed recruitment firm that is looking for an individual to head up their Quantitative Technology recruitment practice.
As a business, they are laser focused on providing Software Engineering talent to some of the leading Hedge Funds and Investment Management firms across the United States, with a heavy current focus on C++ and Low Latency Developers.
Due to their fast-growth trajectory, they are ready to intake a Senior Individual contributing Consultant to be the head of their Quant team, reporting directly to the firm’s founder, who has executed deals in this space worth up to $500k.
The firm is part of a larger, international venture portfolio, renowned for building highly successful, niche-focused recruitment and executive search firms, providing a wealth of logistical and marketing support, along with mentorship from million-dollar billers and a strong platform for you to build a lucrative desk, within a firm whose average individual fee size is $60k.
Responsibilities:
Build and scale the Quantitative Recruiting function of the firm.
Deliver Software Engineering talent (Python, C++, Java etc.)
Developing and relationships with leading hedge funds and investment management firms, as well as mushrooming already broken accounts.
Grow a team of senior billers around you.

Requirements
- Strong previous experiences of full-desk technology/financial services recruitment or executive search, preferably within Software Engineering or Private Equity recruitment.
- Solid grasp financial services concepts
- Get it done mentality, focused on getting the task done to a high quality within deadlines.
- Experience growing and managing a team would be a bonus, but is not necessary to start, however must have an emotional aptitude that could support this development
